I get an error message in Windows Media Player whenever
I try to play the videos.
Using Windows Vista, Internet Explorer 7 and
Windows Media Player 11?
I have some bad news for you, my friend. Currently, Microsoft
has issued a notice
that many users with this configuration may not be able to view
all streaming media. They are working to resolve this issue
and once they come up with a resolution, I'm sure they'll issue
an update. However, you can get instructions for rolling back
to version 10 by clicking
here.
Most likely, problems with viewing videos is caused by not
having the codecs needed to play the videos. I suggest you try
the following steps, trying to view the videos after each one:
1. Install the codec package from Microsoft located at: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=06FCAAB7-DCC9-466B-B0C4-04DB144BB601&displaylang=en
2. Try installing the K-lite Mega Codec pack located at: http://www.codecguide.com/about_mega.htm
I can't download the videos!
This is true. Right now, I only offer streaming video. This
keeps your membership fees low by not allowing people to download,
then trade my videos for free. It may be a little more inconvenient,
but it's the best way to keep the honest people honest.

Do you currently support Mac computers?
Good News! As of February 2, 2007 videos are now viewable by
Mac users with the latest version of Windows Media Player for
Macs.
- Make sure you have the latest version of WMP for MACS <click
here to get it>
- Uninstall the Flip4Mac software that tries to play Windows
Media Files in Quicktime
- If you are using Safari, the files will download to your
desktop. Then you will have to click on them in the desktop
and open with Windows Media Player.
- Firefox and Internet Explorer should play the files automatically.
You may need to change your browser settings to play ASX/ASF
files in Windows Media Player.
I'm using Firefox browser and I keep getting an error message
when I try to view the videos.
Firefox does not automatically know to play Windows Media playlists
(which is what we use to tell your browser how to find the videos
on our server). You can tell it to open these files in Windows
Media Player.
First, make sure you have the latest version of
Firefox:
Now, go to Tools -> Options -> Content ->
File Types, and click on Manage. Now find the lines that say
file type: ASX. Click on "change action", and then
check the radio button that says "open them with the default
application", and make sure it says Windows Media Player
in the box. Click OK and close the popup windows and you should
be good to go!
