I was walking down the boardwalk on the beach one day--it's only about a mile from my studio. There are always really hot guys playing volleyball toward one end of the beach. That's where I found Nick. He was with about 5 friends and they were playing pretty hard. So, I stopped and watched for awhile. When they decided to take a break, Nick walked in my direction. He noticed I was wearing a shirt that had his favorite surf logo on it and asked where I got it. Somehow, he ended up back in my studio that afternoon.
